Intro to Devised Theater: A Workshop
Join us at San Antonio's Magik Theatre on June 7 and 8 for an action packed weekend of devised and physical theater. Participants will have the opportunity to train in multiple forms of devised theater, designed to build your ability to work as part of an ensemble and strengthen your individual presence and power.

The cost for registration for each session is $25. The cost for registration for the entire weekend (four sessions) is $75 (a 25% discount).

What ages is the workshop open to?

The workshop is open to ages 16 and up. If you are registering a minor, please indicate that on the registration form. If you will also be attending, please be sure to fill out a separate form for yourself.​

Where is the workshop?

The workshop is being sponsored by and held at Magik Theatre (420 South Alamo St, San Antonio. TX 78205​).

Do I need to have experience in devised theater to attend?

No! This workshop is open to all, and will be introductory. However, if you do have experience, you are also welcome, and will find it to be a refreshing opportunity to reenter the work.​

Unfortunately, due to limitations of the space, this workshop is not ADA accessible.​

What should I wear?

Participants will receive an email with more information about attire, parking, etc--but in general, just wear something you're comfortable in and don't mind moving around in (think: yoga attire).​
